Blogmas Day 8 - Music

Eight days into December and I’m still not feeling much of “the Christmas spirit.” Per usual, for me, really.

On mine and Ethan’s drive home, we spent more than half of the journey listening to tacky Christmas music. I’ve always had a beef with Christmas music overall, but some songs get under my skin more than the others. So, on this fine Blogmas Day 8, I thought I’d take you all through my least favorite Christmas songs from 10 - 1. It’s fine if I mention a song that you absolutely love, I mean you no offense. This is just meant to be a light-hearted look at holiday music from a cynic’s perspective. Leave me a note in the comments below if you agree with me or you don’t - I’m curious to hear your least favorite Christmas music, too.

These songs are all annoying in their own way and the holiday season would really be much easier to enjoy without them. If can be so bold.

What have we learned today, folks? Keep Mommy away from Santa and no, you can’t ask for a hippo for Christmas. Sounds about right…
