Five years after I originally started planning to go, I finally made it to New Zealand!
/Such a pinch-me moment to actually get to say, but I’ve just returned from the other side of the planet!

Read MoreEncouragement - we all need some from time to time. And since today is Blogmas Day 20 - meaning we are just 5 days away from Christmas and right in the midst of what some people consider to be the most stressful time of year - I thought I’d take this opportunity to share some.
Read MoreHello again, friends! Happy Monday to you all!
Read More"I'm so tired." Raise your hand if you say this either to yourself or to someone around you at least one day a week. 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
Read MoreSometimes moms come up with some great ideas, and this was one of them.
A few months back my loving and resourceful mother suggested to me and Ethan that we look into food delivery services so that we could be more fiscally responsible - rather than eating out almost every night. Also because it’s healthier for you and, as we’d soon discover, more fun and convenient than trying to shop for groceries and cooking our own food from scratch.
Read MoreI think there is this misconception that people who showcase a large portion of their life on the internet (i.e. Bloggers, "Instagram Girls", YouTubers, Beauty Gurus, and the like) have it all figured out. Their content often includes advice and clever how-tos that make it seem like they glide through life with ease. But while much of this might be true, I believe it's important to showcase the moments where Bloggers, like myself, and others, need a little help, too.
Read MoreNot to brag, but I've been around an airplane cabin a few times. Flying is great - it's an exciting, but taxing experience from take-off to touch-down, on both your mind and body. And after the few dozen flights I've taken in my life, I've gotten a pretty solid survival kit nailed down.
I always find little tips and tricks helpful. And one hot-topic in the travel world is carry-on essentials, so I thought I'd share mine.
Read MoreHappy #Sundayfunday, friends.
Can we talk about #Sundayfunday for a minute? I hate Sundays. They are absolutely my least favorite day of the week. I think that #Sundayfunday was just created so that people have a reason to not dislike Sunday so much. Because really, without it, it’s just the day of the week you typically get housework and errands done and when the Monday scaries start to set in. The weekend is nearly over and it’s back to the real world. All in all, Sundays are just not that fun.
Read MoreI’m a quitter. There, I said it.
I have quit on - not everything - but most things that I’ve tried in my life. I’ve given up on so many dreams and plans when the going got too tough. I’ve ALWAYS been a quitter. I quit Girl Scouts in the 2nd grade. I quit volleyball in 3rd. I quit classes when they were too hard. I quit clubs that made me feel out of place. I even quit on career choices and life goals when someone else told me I couldn’t do it… I think you get the picture.
Read MoreOh my god, it's my birthday. And I'm a quarter of a century old. I'm so calling BS on this.
Once you hit your mid-twenties, aren't you supposed to be wiser and more mature? Each day I wake up and still feel like a teenager or younger! I still make the same mistakes that I've been making my entire life.
Read MoreI’ve never been one for fads. I know they pass and I have very little interest in being a follower. Especially when the fad goes against my very being. Like gaucho pants… I haven’t a clue who thought those were a good idea, but the thought of them still haunt me to this day. They just go to show that popular opinion is NOT always correct.
Read MoreSo, there’s this magical place that has everything you could ever need and some things you didn’t even know you wanted. It’s a colorful, exciting place that brings so many people joy. No, I’m not talking about Disney World or Santa’s Workshop. I’m referring to a place that you probably have not far from your own backyard. I’m referring to the Swedish masterpiece that is known as IKEA.
Read MoreI have always had a lot of anxiety about my health.
I wouldn’t consider myself a typically anxious person, but as soon as I think I’m coming down with something, my panic level hits the roof.
Read MoreI’m a sucker for a good affirmation.
For any given situation in my life, I can find the perfect quote or words of advice from someone wiser than me to compliment how I’m feeling and tell me what I need to hear.
Read MoreYou're always just one decision away from a completely different life. In a similar way, I believe, you're always just one conversation away from meeting a person who will completely change your life, too.
