Postcards From Italy Part 1 - Pisa

I am so lucky to say I’ve gotten to set foot in all the wonderful places that I have. One gorgeous location that I am always truly humbled to remember that I ventured to is the historic and beautiful country of Italy. So many people dream of visiting Italy and I have to pinch myself sometimes when I think about the fact that I got the pleasure of spending over a week there two years ago.

My best friend is as Italian as it comes. She’s of Italian heritage and she speaks Italian, plus she has two degrees, both in Italian, and one acquired from an Italian school. She lived in Italy for over a year, when you combine her study abroad adventure with her year-long Master’s degree program. I couldn’t be more proud of her incredible accomplishments, or more glad that she spent so much time there - giving me a perfect excuse to book a ticket.

She visited nearly every corner of the country in her time abroad, but I was only able to get to visit three different locations within and around the central region of Tuscany. This series of three blog posts (one for each spot) will highlight the stunning scenery of the Italian culture, architecture, cuisine, and countryside. Starting, with my favorite of the three locations -

Can you see how much there is to love? Pisa definitely tops Pisa most charming list, if you ask me.

Do you agree? Is it on your Italian adventure list?
