Spend a Weekend in Miami With My Best Friend and Me
When you move an hour away from one of the most lively cities in the country, it’s a no-brainer that when your best friend flies across the country to visit you, you both take a weekend to make the trip.
I’ve visited Miami only once before on a work trip and I fell completely in love with it. The atmosphere in the city is so lively and colorful; it’s impossible not to have a good time.
Here are some of the fun things Nicole and I got up two over the course of our three days and two nights in the city that we highly recommend to everyone planning a trip!
The food was delicious and so was the atmosphere - if you’re ever in Miami, this place is a definite 10/10 must-visit!
This entire neighborhood had the coolest vibe and felt quintessentially Miami. This was probably my favorite part of the entire trip and Nicole and I both couldn’t recommend visiting more!
If I’m honest, this was the whole reason we went to Miami in the first place - as I’m sure is the case for many others like us. We visited a half a dozen places, or so, but our favorite hands down was Dom’s in Brickell. Their delicious late-night pizza and low lighting we’re exactly what the doctor ordered.
Miami’s beaches are as beautiful as everyone says they are, but that sun is no-joke. I wore factor 50 and still left burnt to a crisp. My advice: check the UV index if you’re not planning to hide under an umbrella, folks - you can thank me later.
OMG this place was cool. It was recommended to me by a co-worker and the internet is buzzing about it, so of course we had to pop in and see what all the fuss was about. Sure, the cocktails are pricey AF, but between all the dancing and bottle service parades, we hardly noticed.
Miami treated the both of us well. The food was declicious and the vibes were absolutely unmatched. Anyone looking for a fabulous weekend away with their friends can’t go wrong in this city. We’re already planning our next trip back - maybe we’ll see you there!
